A 28-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly following women through the West Edmonton Mall and squirting a substance resembling semen onto their clothing.
The investigation began on Nov. 20, 2025, when a woman riding an escalator at the mega mall reported that a man intentionally squirted an unknown liquid on her back and buttocks. Police later discovered the man followed and approached about seven different women in a similar way that afternoon.
Investigators eventually linked the man to two other locations, including a Home Sense on Nov. 4 and a Costco on Nov. 8. Staff Sergeant Christa Laforce stated that acts intended to humiliate or degrade others are treated as sexual assault, regardless of whether the substance used is real or an imitation.
Police arrested Jensen Jeffery on Jan. 14, 2026, and charged him with three counts of sexual assault. He left custody with strict orders to stay out of all shopping malls, avoid possessing any weapons, and remain within Alberta.
Detectives believe there may be more victims and are asking anyone with information to contact the Edmonton Police Service.
